Site plans – update
The new site is being worked on in the background as I write this:
- We’ve already identified the outlines of logo through our crowdSPRING contest. As the designer creates new entries, we’ll try to run a poll to see what our visitors like.
- We’ll be transitioning the site’s WP theme to Thesis, which I use at rickcolosimo.com. The colors and everything else will change, but the underlying system will be easier to use during the blogging phase of the project.
- Joomla/drupal coding will begin on Friday, May 1. (Skilled tutoring would be very welcome!) I’m determined to build a functioning alpha version myself so that I can communicate more clearly to the eventual designers what the community needs in terms of features and functions beyond the normal panoply of social networking tools, all of which will be available, of course.
- We’ll also be transitioning some of the 30seats posts to this blog; that site will be refocused strictly on the open-source autism school project.
Please feel free to ask about features, send suggestions, or let us know about your favorite color schemes in the comments!
